A sweet and tasty trip to the Nebraska State Fair
ReplyDeleteThis article was really just abut a trip to the State Fair on opening day.They said that it was very enjoyable and that it was fun. The Nebraska Cattleman's Beef Pit was pretty good food.. They talked about all of the events and things that are going on. There is Cowboy Church on Sunday. It sounds pretty fun. There is also the Nebraska State Fair Cinnamon Roll recipe ant the end of the article.
Making the connection between technology lab and farm
ReplyDeleteThey talked about how that are trying to add more technology to farming to make it more efficient and easier. They are using GPS in tractor so the rows will all be strait and you can also make holes, drop offs and other problem areas in a field. They also created an app to go with the new pivots that will track each tower for you and when you log on you can change setting if needed or just check the pivot. I think that this technology will be very beneficial.
A tasty trip to the fair.
ReplyDeleteThis was about going to the state fair. Everything was really fun and enjoyable. There is a lot of different things going on during the week of state fair. They also had really good meat at the fair. Even though it was humid in the morning a lot of people had fun.
Mammoth skeleton uncovered in Texas.
ReplyDeleteThat would be scary if I found a skeleton just randomly. I would be amazed by it though. I would also donate the skeleton to an exhibit. I am surprised that it was in perfect condition and it has been underground for that many years.
Mammoth Skeleton uncovered in Texas
ReplyDeleteA family in northern Texas discovered a mammoth skeleton on their land when they were excavating a gravel pit. It was estimated to be about 60,000 years old! The family is donating it to city's museum. I wonder if any huge fossil skeletons have been found in Nebraska.
This article was about a woman who got an honor for Ag. This was a good article and can be used to motivate so many people, because they may not even know their ability until they try it. Ag has so many benefits that it could carry you the rest of your life and you won't even know unless you try. If its not for you I think you will be able to find that out yourself beforehand.

ReplyDeleteThis girl had wanted to take the two pigs she got to the state fair. But she wasn't having very good luck with them. Once she bought was suppose to be pregnant but wasn't. They ended up buying a pig from down the road. She walked them to build muscle but she knew she was doomed because the other kids have been training there pigs all year
How kids’ livestock shows are changing
ReplyDeleteI would have been upset if my pigs were not cooperating with me. I did not know that you walked pigs. But it seems like it would be fun to walk a pig. Is the pig dying or not? This is for the county or state fair and it is very fun.

You should want to go this year because of all the stuff that is included this year. The article basically laid it out to the point that it could change anyone's mind.
Today I read the Article A sweet and tasty trip to the State Fair. I read about all of the cool things you can see (and eat) at the state fair. I heard about the new Nebraska Building and the delicious Pulled pork sandwich at the Nebraska Cattleman Beef Pit.

ReplyDeleteThere is still 7 days left of the Nebraska 2014 State Fair. It is said to show the best of all Nebraska has to offer, and lives up to its theme. I haven't been to the fair yet, but I am looking forward to going after reading this.
Today I read the Article Mammoth Skeleton uncovered in Texas. I found out that a family excavating a gravel pit on there property in North Texas uncovered an ancient mammoth skeleton. I found out that it is anywhere between twenty to sixty thousand years old.
ReplyDeleteThis article is about the state fair. It is a great place to go to learn more about Ag and all the services it has to offer for you. My advice for you would be to go check it out. There is also tons of good food there you can eat. It is a great attraction for anyone to visit. There is a lot of cool exhibits too so make sure you go there.

ReplyDeleteThis article was about a father and son that were working on their farm and found a mammoth skeleton in a gravel pit. They donated it to a museum in Texas. It was nearly completely preserved. According to the scientists of the museum, it is up to sixty thousand years old.
The article pertains to the state fair. The state fair is great place to visit if you want to know more about agriculture and the history of our state. I think visiting the state fair is a great way to spend a day or two. Even if your not interested in history or agriculture there is some really good food.
