  1. Agriculture is passed on from generation to generation. Agriculture is remembered for the words, but the actions are what are truly taken to heart. If you do good things, then good things will come out of it in return. If you push through the struggles, then good will come out of it.

I believe in the future of agriculture, with a faith born not of words but of deeds - achievements won by the present and past generations of agriculturists; in the promise of better days through better ways, even as the better things we now enjoy have come to us from the struggles of former years.

  2. I believe in leadership from ourselves and respect from others. I believe in my own ability to work efficiently and think clearly, with such knowledge and skill as I can secure, and in the ability of progressive agriculturists to serve our own and the public interest in producing and marketing the product of our toil.

I think this means that in agriculture things aren't just going to be given to you. You have to go out and work every day to be successful. The things in your business aren't just going to fall together and work perfectly every single day. Its going to take a lot of work, effort and leadership to be successful.

I think this means that agriculture is a tradition that has been passed down to generation after generation. The tradition is the achievements won by hard work through hard times. Good things come from hard work and struggles, it is what makes you better. It also means anyone can say something, but it takes hard work to actually go out and do it.

  4. I believe that to live and work on a good farm, or to be engaged in other agricultural pursuits, is pleasant as well as challenging; for I know the joys and discomforts of agricultural life and hold an inborn fondness for those associations which, even in hours of discouragement, I cannot deny.

When you work on a farm, some things that you do could be easy and some could be hard. Everyone knows what you like to do and what you don't like to do. Even when you have discouragement on the farm, you still like what you do, and you will still do it even though you have some things that you don't like.

To me this is saying that you can be involved in agriculture without working and or living on a farm but by being involved in some part of the process somewhere. With this line of work there is always ups and downs and things to be proud of and something that you wish you could change. People that work on or around the farm deal with a lot more unseen things and people will never know.

To me this means that no matter what life throws at you you must keep persevering and choosing to do what is right.

Means that even with problems and or no problems life as a farmer is hard. From morning up to sun down they work work work to help the average person live and support others. But for every bad there is a good one with laughter and fun as it is a family experience. As you can pass it down and have fun with it. Go BEARCATS!!!!!!!!

to me this means that we need to have respect for others and not single one group of people out, the way that we live our lives with hate and regret and envy is going against what this paragraph is saying, yet we live with it every day.

I think this means that agriculture is tradition. We work hard and struggle at times but we all fight through it. We don't give up because in FFA we are taught to work through adversity. We are taught leadership skills. We are able to enjoy our rewards more because we work hard for it.

To me this means if you plant lost of crops then you will get the money from the plants. if you dont plant anything dont plan on having a successful year of harvest.

to me this means that you dont have to feed cows everyday or drive a tractor or even live on a farm. it just means that your involved in the process some where along the line.
