I think it is amazing how he used his obstacle and story to inspire people. He encourages you that if you fail it only teaches you, and that miracles can happen from it. Hearing his speech makes me thankful for what I have, and that I don't have it that bad, even when I think I do. He talked about how he thinks FFA can end world hunger, and can make a difference. I think overall it was a really inspiring message.
ReplyDeleteI found it extremely awesome how one man without legs and arms can make such an amazing impact on such a large group of people. I found it motivational because if someone born like that can overcome his adversity I can overcome the issues that I face and that nothing is too hard to overcome and that i need to stop being afraid or i will never accomplish anything at all.
ReplyDeleteI think its astonishing how he still encourages and teaches other.It shows that miracles do happen and that you should never stay down after you fall down. This speech isn't just inspiring to ffa members but to anyone that watches it.
ReplyDeleteI think its courages in his own ways on how he courages and as well shows others that there is more to life then having a fully functional body as people can do the same even if they are missing body parts.As there are miracles that can happen as it shows nothing should stop you from doing what you need to do in life to complete the one goal you want completed and it just helps everyone who just wants that extra step to help them be successful in life
ReplyDeleteI think it is very cool how he is so comfortable with his body. He achieved college when he was 21 which most people can't do. I like how he overcame everything and it is amazing how he can be so happy.
ReplyDeleteI think that he is a pretty neat guy. He obviously doesnt have any arms or legs and that doesnt affect anything that he does. He gets up and speaks in front of huge groups of people and that doesnt bother him at all. He is completely right when he says you can give up there is so much more in life than how you look.
