  1. Meeting growing demand for Ag Teachers

The need for Ag teachers across nebraska has grown vigorously. They need more young people interested in going that route. I think this is a good thing to do. People need Ag in their lives to improve their outlook on life and better themselves. It is a great idea to be an Ag teacher.

  2. California water mysteriously missing

As California struggles with a devastating drought, huge amounts of water are mysteriously vanishing from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta — and the prime suspects are farmers whose families have tilled fertile soil there for generations. Delta farmers don’t deny using as much water as they need. But they say they’re not stealing it because their history of living at the water’s edge gives them that right. Still, they have been asked to report how much water they’re pumping and to prove their legal rights to it.

  3. Meeting Growing demand for ag teachers.

The need for ag teachers across the state of nebraska has grown exponentially. They need more young people who are interested in kids and agriculture. I myself dont feel like being an ag teacher but i do think it would be fun because you could teach all of the kids what you know about this wonderful interesting activity.

  7. California Water Mysteriously Missing

California is in trouble with their fresh water. The water is somehow going missing through the Sacramento San Joaquin Delta. Most people are blaming all of the farmers that have been in that area. They don't think that it belongs to the farmers because they haven't been there the longest.

This article is about how the Minneapolis police department is packing healthy food to fill gaps in the food chain. they are trying to get healthy food to people who need it, and can't afford it. I think that this is really cool because it doesn't happen very often.

  10. Lowe's to eliminate Bee- Killing pesticides

Home improvement chain Lowe’s Cos Inc will stop selling a type of pesticide suspected of causing a decline in honeybee populations needed to pollinate key American crops, following a few U.S. retailers who have taken similar steps last year.

The class of pesticides known as neonicotinoids, or neonics, are sold by agrichemical companies to boost yields of staple crops but are also used widely on annual and perennial plants used in lawns and gardens.

  11. California water mysteriously missing

Huge amounts of water have been disappearing from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Farmers whose families have tilled fertile soil there for generations are the "prime suspects." It is especially effecting arid soil in the Central Valley and millions of residents as far south as San Diego. Farmers have been asked to report how much water they are pumping.
