  1. Teen sends message to astronaut dad
It takes more than a pen and paper for 13-year-old Stephanie to send a message to her father who works far away. Eleven Hyundai Genesis cars can help, though. A recent video from Hyundai shows the process of creating a message large enough for the Houston teen’s astronaut father to see from the International Space Station.

  2. New species of frog looks like Kermit

The lime-green amphibian, which took the Internet by storm this week, has bulging white eyes with perfect black pupils, much like Jim Henson’s musical puppet. But this frog can’t carry a tune. In fact, it has a long whistle like that of an insect, which, according to a new study, may be why scientists didn’t notice it for so long—Costa Rica’s last glass frog discovery occurred in 1973.

A new species of see-through glass frog found in Costa Rica looks just like Kermit. He is lime green with bulging black eyes and black pupils that look very similar to Kermit the frog the musical puppet. The last glass frog was discovered in 1973. It has a whistle like an insect which is why they think that it took scientists so long to find it.
