  1. My SAE is working for Espressions. I was interested in working their because it would allow me to meet many people that come in and get to work with fun people. I was motivated to work their because I like to drink coffee and I needed a summer job and it sounded like a fun job when I applied for it. I wanted to work at starbucks and when I figured that Espressions involved with coffee I decided to apply their because they looked like they had much fun working their. There was no special situation that related to my SAE Area. I just decided that that would have been a good spot to get hired and so I decided that I would apply their. I really like my job now and I am excited for the summer and weekends in the winter to begin working their again. :) Bye bye.

  2. My SAE is working for my dad on the farm. I have been helping him on the farm for a while, and it is interesting to learn about farming, and help. I especially help my dad during the summer when I'm not quite as busy, and don't have to go to school. I help by hauling pipe, helping irrigate, and other work around the farm. Farming is a big priority in Nebraska all around, but especially here in and around Hamilton county. No particular person or reason influenced my SAE, it was just an obvious choice, since I live on a farm, and my dad farms. My dad encouraged me to work, and it is easy because I usually work at, or close to home, and it is a good experience since it teaches you hard work and to keep trying. It was an easy choice since my dad is a farmer, and can teach me about it.125

  3. My SAE is working for my sister's fiance on his farm. I help him farm a lot in the summer doing stuff like washing equipment, feeding animals, moving stuff with the bobcat. Coming up soon I will be helping them with harvest. They have me drive the tractor with the auger behind it. driving alongside him as he picks it with the combine. I do this stuff quite a bit and has definitely gained my interest as a SAE. I would love to do this when I raise my own family. He said he will let me borrow his equipment to get me started then after a while I could purchase my own. These are some of the many reasons why this is my SAE.

  4. My SAE is working around my house or (work at home). I've had to do this for as long as i can remember. I usually have to clean and do laundry and make sure my sister gets her things done. Then sometimes i have to go outside and help my dad with what ever he needs done. Right now we have been putting in fence post at my house for my dog this winter. I had to help him fix my car and sometimes i have to run and do things for him like picking somebody or something up for him. I usually do most of my stuff at my house.

  5. My SAE is detassling. What interested and motivated me to begin detassling?? Getting the money from detassling and seeing all of the cool people their everyday made me more motivated and interested in detassling. I always told myself that I would never detassle and I would rather work at McDonalds, but then all of my friends said that it wasn't bad and it is not that hard. I thought I would die because of walking a lot and the heat. The reason why I wanted to detassle is because a lot of my friends did it and I had nothing better to do during the summer besides sit at home and that gets really boring. All of my friends kind of made me more interested in detassling because they did it, but what interested me the most is all the money that I would get. Oh and I guess Mr. Ediger kind of talked me in to doing it because my first year I was very fast and did my job very well!

  6. My SAE was working for a farmer this summer. What interested me was i needed money so i could go do some fun stuff. I mostly did odd jobs around the farm like cleaning/fixing vehicles, tearing down old buildings and putting up new ones, cutting up fallen trees, and feeding animals. the situation was that they needed help and i needed a job. The the thing that happened was the big storm. I was gonna just get paid to help clean up, and then since i did such a good job the just decided to keep me on the rest of the summer.

  7. SAE in is working for the great Pizza Hut. Was interested in making easy money and to get out of track. But also to prepare myself for the future life as sports and school only lasts for so long. Its the customers or the workers that make my SAE from complainers to customers who where glad of the work we where giving them as thats what the goal of Pizza Hut is suppose to be and we keep a high goal for that. No one but me lead me to get this job at Pizza hut as I needed money and a head start on life but start out easy and go from there. One day making managerial position but not be there my whole life

  8. My SAE is working at home. I have always been interested in helping my parents create a clean environment for me and others who enter my home. I will do any thing to help make this happen. Through out this job I mow the yard, I clean the house, and I clean the yard. I do get paid once in a while but knowing i live in a healthy environment makes it better

  11. I've always been interested in working with cattle. I believe that my interest probably started when my dad taking me with him to work . He and I have always been really close and so when he took me with him and had me help in working cattle entreating cattle and just riding with him when he fed it just left a big impact on me and since then I've kind of wanted to stay doing what he's always done. He's worked on a feedlot since he was about 1415 years old and I've always admired my dad and wanted to follow in his footsteps.

I think on a day-to-day basis basically what I do is I raise cattle for show and so I just feed and check in chore every day it's not much of a huge difficult task right now but I hope that in the years to come I can make something out of it and become a manager or something. I think what started my interest is when my dad had help me learn how to sort for the first time and when he help me treat the heifers and calves one year.

I think the biggest impact that his been impressed upon me is my dad because he's always been a huge influence in my life and the way he teaches me to work cattle and you care about what you're doing and just do every day stuff that him and I can do together is left a huge impression on me and it's left a big impression impact also I hope that someday I can have years of experiencethat my dad has but at the same time I want to have a job that works with cattle but is still very productive and I am satisfied with every day life
